The Green Smoothie #1

If you're living the ketogenic life, ya need a green smoothie recipe. This is one of two green smoothie recipes, and it's a great one - when you have a little more time for prep.

Ingredients

3 c. raw baby spinach

1 tbsp. nut or peanut butter (I like 100% Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter by Adams)

1 scoop unflavoured protein powder (I like Harmonized Fermented Vegan pea protein By Progressive)

1 tsp. organic vanilla extract

1 tbsp. liquid organic coconut oil

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

¼ c. water

1 c. almond milk (I use Almond Breeze by Blue Diamond, original unsweetened)

Your preferred sweetener to taste (I like to add Truvia, 2-½ Tsp (4g / 0.14 oz)

1 tsp. ground turmeric (optional)


Instructions

1. Add all ingredients except protein powder into blender.

2. Blend

3. While blending, remove lid and add protein powder in slowly to prevent clumping.

4. Enjoy!
